MYBeats Music Festival to feature performances from ALYPH, ShiGGa Shay, KEYANA, The Cold Cut Duo, and more

November is drawing to a close, and what better way to end the month than with a free music festival?

Organised by Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC Grassroots Organisations (GROs) in partnership with People’s Association Integration & Naturalisation Champions (INCs) and Singapore Turf Club, the upcoming MYBeats Music Festival promises to be an evening loaded with unforgettable music performances.

Scheduled to be held at Singapore Turf Club Carpark B from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM on 26 November, the event will feature homegrown artists from across different genres and styles. These include hip-hop acts ALPYH and ShiGGa Shay, R&B vocalist KEYANA, Mandopop duo The Cold Cut Duo, singer-songwriter Jason Yu, reggae outfit BUSHMEN, and beloved bands Supersonic and Reverie.

To recreate the "laidback" experience of being in a music festival, the event's outdoor venue will be fitted with picnic mats, lighted cubes, and beach tables accompanied by benches. Guests can also look forward to chowing down on food from an eclectic selection of vendors, including vegan and Muslim-owned ones), and choosing from a wide range of beverage offerings.

Additionally, festival-goers can participate in the festival's engaging fringe activities, which include playing the Angklung, preserving precious memories at a photo booth, and trying out horseshoe hydro dipping.

An effort by Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC GROs to connect with the younger generation through music and the arts, MYBeats Music Festival will return every November following its 2022 edition.
