Quite Quiet announces new EP 'Mayhem at Alpaca World'

New music is coming from Quite Quiet

Taking to his Instagram page on 21 February, Darell Laser — the vocalist and bassist of emo/math-rock outfit Forests — announced that he will be launching a new EP under his dream pop and lo-fi solo project "quite soon".

Titled Mayhem At Alpaca World, the EP will comprise a total of five tracks — 'anime pudding cup', 'possibly maybe probably no', 'if seven years by saosin was a dream pop song', 'casio calculator watch (feat. Ihasamic!)', and 'pictures to use if i ever go missing'.

In addition to revealing the project's title and tracklist, Darell also shared its cover photograph, which was taken by Japanese photographer Misa Nakagaki.

Just last June, Darell released his first studio album under his Quite Quiet project. Titled a trip to nowhere, the album is made up of 12 tracks, some of which were featured on the setlist of Quite Quiet's Baybeats 2022 show in October of the same year.
