Coming Up Roses to embark on Taiwan tour and perform at LUCfest 2022 this November

Coming Up Roses are getting ready to hit the road again.

On Friday (14 October), the Singaporean alt-rock outfit unveiled the dates for their upcoming Taiwan tour, which is scheduled to take place this November.

After kicking off their tour with a show in the city of Kaohsiung on 2 November, the trio will make their way to Tainan to perform on the second day (4 November) of the LUCfest 2022. There, they will join up with the rest of the showcase festival's Singapore contingent, which also includes Houg and Goose 我鳥

Following that, the band will wrap up their tour by staging a special concert with Taiwanese indie-rock group I Mean Us in the Taiwanese capital of Taipei on 6 November

“We’ve been fans of I Mean Us for a long while now, and have fond memories of hanging out — and eating a lot of food — with them during Music Matters back in 2019. We’re really thrilled to get to go to Taiwan and play with them — 3 years on!” shared Coming Up Roses' Darius Oon

With a sound that fuses folk, grunge, and shoegaze elements and lyrics that reminisce on their adolescent years, Coming Up Roses, comprising vocalist and bassist Emily Sera and guitarists Darius Oon and Lorenzo Romero, have made a name for themselves in the local music scene since their formation in 2018. Earlier this year, the band spoke to Hear65 about their second EP, Everything Is, and their 2022 Canada tour.
