Titled "Melt the Wax", the project will be released via Portland-based independent record label Topshelf Records, whose roster includes the likes of Japanese alternative rock band tricot, Taiwanese experimental group Elephant Gym, American dream pop act No Vacation, and Singaporean indie pop band Sobs

The EP will comprise a total of three tracks that draw inspiration from frontwoman Nur Wahidah's upbringing — 'Please Remember', 'Aquarius', and 'Hurt Your Head'.

Coming nearly two years after their 2021 third full-length album Nature of Things, Melt The Wax is set to be an exciting return to the much-missed dreamy realm of Subsonic Eye.

Digital copies of the EP are now available for pre-order via the band's Bandcamp page.

Besides releasing new music this month, Subsonic Eye will also perform at FRED PERRY SUBCULTURE on 16 November 2022
