'As Long As I'm With You' came about as I had wanted to write my partner a song since he makes up a big part of me. Having known him for more than half my life, he was the only constant with me as I transitioned around in the foster care system. He was the only one there for me when no one else was, and I am very grateful for having him. He showed me that life is good as long as he is in it, as long as I'm with him.
