Behind these Walls

Writing music has always been my avenue of expressing the pain deep within my heart, and has also been the way I tend to find escape from these impenetrable walls of what feels like hell. Behind these Walls EP consists of 4 songs: 《I Can’t》 《Pretend》 《I’m Fine》 《Behind these Walls》 Together, the titles of these 4 songs make up the phrase “I can’t pretend I’m fine behind these walls”, which is the theme of this EP. It depicts an important reason as to how I was able to overcome depression. Each of the songs describe different aspects of depression and feelings that I have experienced over the past 8 years or so, and I hope it resonates with those who are or have went through similar situations before.
