Cupid Lost

Cupid Lost is about the regret of lost love. It is about being self-aware that your relationship is falling apart and yet being unable to resolve it. I was inspired thematically by the legend of Cupid and Psyche, where the love god himself (ironically) is smitten by his own arrow and is helpless about it. Although my lyrics have pain and regret, the beat is chill. I designed it this way to reflect that even when love is painful, there is still a certain glory and ecstasy to the feeling.
