With the extension of circuit breaker measures due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, we're forced to contend with the lack of intimate human interaction that usually takes place in our everyday lives for a protracted time. Yet despite everything, life finds a way to go on, and we find ways to stay connected and ensure that these physical distances don't translate to emotional distancing.

It is this message of strength and unity that 14 local artists have come together to convey in 'Stay Home', a multilingual track that shows support for nationwide efforts to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.  A project by Universal Music Group, the single features Charlie Lim, Yung Raja, Fariz Jabba, ShiGGa Shay, Alif, ABANGSAPAU, Tosh Rock, Iman, Aisyah Aziz, Shye, Zadon, YAØ, Hashy and Dee Kosh. The artists completed the production of the song and music video within 11 days from their homes.

“We are most excited about this initiative, which showcases the passion of the artists and music executives who worked together cohesively in record time to create an amazing body of work. We are proud of these 14 artists who represent the new generation of Singaporeans who are stepping up to today’s challenges. I would also like to thank all our media partners for giving this song the biggest exposure possible," shared Calvin Wong, CEO of Universal Music South East Asia.

The track was inspired by Malaysia’s '#jangankeluar', which was released in response to their country’s movement control order.  The official music video will premiere at 8PM tonight (24/04) on YouTube. Singaporeans will also have the chance to interact with the 14 artists through a live chat.
