Fever's celebrated Candlelight Concerts series is back in 2024 and music lovers can expect to be mesmerised by classical renditions of tunes from beloved films, hits from some of the biggest names from the international music scene, and more. This January and February, music lovers can catch performances by homegrown acts such as pianist Gabriel Hoe and pop rock string quartet VOX.

With the theme "Refresh, Renew and Re-present," concert-goers can expect an immersive experience blending Chinese opera, wushu, and EDM, with a mosh pit for fans to get close to their favorite artists. The lineup includes popular acts like BY2, Feng Ze, DJ WUKONG, and rising stars such as J.M3, Ben Hum, Zadon, Paige, and Jordin, along with ballad singer Firdhaus and 3P. SCCC CEO Alvin Tan hopes the concert will showcase homegrown talent, entertain fans, and encourage Singaporeans to embrace local Chinese culture through Mandopop.
Singapore Chinese Orchestra presents the "Virtuoso Series": Ode to Peking opera - Zhang Lie and SCO

Huang Guifang shared that the Ode to Peking Opera concert blends the essence of Peking opera with the charm of Chinese orchestral music, showcasing both traditional and modern arrangements. The concert highlights the unique allure and modern expressiveness of opera music. A key feature is the collaboration between Jinghu musician Wang Caiyun and Professor Wang Jianhua in 'Night Thoughts', an ensemble piece based on Winds on Lotus Leaves. The concert will also feature young opera performer Li Bo in sections from 'Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy', along with well-loved classics like 'The Moon at Dawn over Lugou Bridge' and 'Ode to Pear Blossom'.
Dogswain presents DogFest 3

Singapore Writers Festival returns with a focus on our relationship with the natural world this year. SWF 2024 hosts over 200 programs across 2 festival weekends ranging from exhibitions and screenings to meet-the-author sessions. But beyond that, the festival will also be inviting talented local musicians to perform. Their live music programming includes Evolution Anthems (which features Shak’thiya, Joie Tan, inch., and more) and Dear Home (an interactive musical showcase by Sushma Soma with Isuru Wijesoma).
