Fever's celebrated Candlelight Concerts series is back in 2025 and music lovers can expect to be mesmerised by classical renditions of tunes from beloved films, hits from some of the biggest names from the international music scene, and more. This year is all about tributes to legendary music soundtracks in movies and dramas by the likes of Hans Zimmer, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran & more.


Ancient Moon, Present Light

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with Ancient Moon, Present Light, a festive concert by the SCO under Associate Conductor Moses Gay. Part of the Mid-Autumn Family FUN series by SCO and the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, the evening features beloved tunes perfect for all ages and a special performance of 'Zhang Zhao’s Moon Song' by zhongruan musician Ngeow Si Ming Jonathan, offering a joyful and educational musical experience for families and friends.


Voices of Singapore Presents ‘SING60: Voices of a Nation’ Gala Concert

Voices of Singapore (VOS) is set to stage one of its most ambitious concerts yet — SING60: Voices of a Nation — a sweeping tribute to 60 years of choral music in Singapore. The concert will feature over 500 singers across VOS’ state and community choirs, corporate groups from COMO and NKF, and guest ensembles including Artusik Multiethnic Ensemble and the Singapore Indian Orchestra & Choir. As part of the year-long #SING60 series, this showcase celebrates Singapore’s multicultural musical identity with a diverse repertoire spotlighting local composers. The event will be graced by Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, and promises an uplifting evening that honours the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the future of Singapore's choral community.


Troubadour: Celebrating Singapore’s Songsmiths

Troubadour is a special one-night-only acoustic showcase bringing together three singer-songwriters — Bennett Bay, Leslie Low, and Kiang — representing different generations of Singapore music. From Bennett’s ambient instrumentals to Leslie’s introspective lyricism and Kiang’s psychedelic rock roots, Troubadour is a rare celebration of musical storytelling across time. As part of Singapore's SG60 festivities, expect a heartfelt evening of unreleased tracks, nostalgic favourites, and timeless songwriting that bridges eras. 


Chill Sessions 3

Chill Sessions 3 offers an intimate night of live electronic music and conversation with some of Singapore’s most exciting homegrown acts. Hosted by Haneri (Daphne Khoo), the event invites audiences to connect with artists beyond their music through food, drinks, and candid Q&As. The lineup features Diana Saw’s hypnotic blend of synths, drum machines, and Erhu, Raj Kamal’s gritty techno-driven live set, and the explosive album launch of Mantravine’s PROGENIT//ER, fresh off their European tour. With its fusion of performances and personal storytelling, Chill Sessions 3 promises an electrifying yet personal celebration of local creativity.


SG:SW I Write The Songs 2025 Finale Concert

Co-organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC), Composers & Authors Society of Singapore, and Ocean Butterflies MusicSG:SW I Write The Songs is an annual nationwide Mandopop songwriting competition which provides a platform to uncover and cultivate the next generation of local music talents. After four months of rigorous screening and mentorship, the Top 10 finalists of this year’s SG:SW I Write The Songs have emerged and will be taking the stage. The judging panel consists of Singapore Cultural Medallion Award recipient Dr Liang Wern Fook, music producer Zennon Goh, Taiwanese lyricist Louise Lou, Taiwanese composer Meilinbear and Mediacorp personality Zhong Kunhua. They will pick the winners for the following awards: Best Song; Lyrics (Merit); Melody (Merit); Best Vocal Performance; Best Performing Band and Popularity (Public Voting). There will also be guest performances by local singer-songwriter and SG:SW 2025 Ambassador Elton Lee, and Mandopop duo The Freshman.


Hits of Classics by Singapore Chinese Orchestra

Hits of Classics 2025 returns with a fresh new format, inviting audiences to vote for their top 10 favourite titan composers in the Chinese orchestral world. Principal Conductor Quek Ling Kiong will bring their most iconic works to life in this special concert, jointly presented by the SCO and Lianhe Zaobao.


SCO Goes to VivoCity

The Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) is set to light up the VivoCity Amphitheatre once again, marking its fourth year of collaboration with Mapletree. Conducted by Associate Conductor Moses Gay, the one-hour outdoor concert will feature over 40 musicians performing crowd favourites including a nostalgic Xinyao Medley and Impressions of Chinese Music. This year’s highlight is Converging Resonances’, a new piece commissioned to celebrate SG60 and the 60th anniversary of the Singapore Conference Hall, composed by SCO’s Wang Chenwei.


HOMEGROWN Festival 2025

HOMEGROWN Festival 2025 is making its return, bringing two full days of music, art, and community spirit. Produced by the Music & Drama Company and So Drama! Entertainment, the festival spotlights some of the city’s most exciting homegrown acts including Heema Izatti, Krysta Joy, Sezairi, lewloh, Gail Belmonte, Dominic Chin, and more. Beyond the live performances, festival-goers can dive into a vibrant village featuring jagua tattoos, caricature portraits, tarot readings, bouquet-making, and a collaborative art project, alongside retro arcade games and carnival fun. With its mix of rising stars, established names, and interactive activities, HOMEGROWN 2025 promises to be a true celebration of Singapore’s creative pulse.


Battle Scores

Step into a world where Chinese chamber music clashes with the mystique of martial arts at Battle Scores. Presented by Ding Yi Music Company in collaboration with Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, this electrifying concert transforms five iconic instruments — huqin, dizi, guzheng, suona, and percussion — into rival martial arts clans straight out of a wuxia tale. Directed by Chong Tze Chien and anchored by an original score from Hannah Hsieh, the show fuses music with shadow puppetry, wushu-inspired movement, and theatrical storytelling, promising a genre-defying experience that reimagines tradition through a contemporary lens.


Cleaning Day!

Dirty Window’s Cleaning Day! is an all-day celebration of Singapore’s DIY music scene, featuring a stacked lineup and vibrant community energy. Marking the collective’s third anniversary, Cleaning Day! will feature live sets from local acts including sub:shaman, deførmed, monda(e), Alica DC, Bellied Star, Nosedive, and HARU, alongside a bustling art fair spotlighting homegrown vendors like witherandbone, Surface Noise Records, and 222.bakehouse. Attendees can also dive into workshops hosted by local creatives such as 760coremedia, 4th Wall Studios, and members of Saylah Studios and Blacklisted Productions.


Bring Your Nailclipper To Prom

Two of Singapore’s sapphic collectives — Nail Clipper Club and Bring Your Roommate — are teaming up for the ultimate blood-splattered queer prom night. Titled Bring Your Nailclipper To Prom, the event draws wild inspiration from the cult horror classic Carrie, promising a gloriously messy night of camp, chaos, and joy. Hosted by drag darling Lychee Bye, the lineup includes karaoke with The Carrie Crarksons led by indie rocker RENE, drag acts by Mia Rita Virus and all-drag king boyband BTO, alongside dancefloor takeovers by DJs ESTR and saudalexander. With best-dressed prizes, prom queef crowning, and affordable table bookings, this queer prom is made for the outsiders — a space to scream, slay, and sparkle ‘til late.


Taufik Batisah: One Last Dance

Taufik Batisah: One Last Dance is not just a concert. It is a moment of gratitude. After years of collaborations, awards, and chart-topping releases, this concert is Taufik's personal thank you to the fans who have supported him from his Singapore Idol days to today. The show will feature a specially curated setlist of fan favourites across both his English and Malay discography, reimagined with new arrangements, visuals, and storytelling elements that reflect the artist he has become. With the possibility that this may be his final full-scale solo concert, One Last Dance promises to be an emotional and powerful celebration of music, legacy and connection. 


Singapore-China Gala Symphony Concert

GRAMMY-winning conductor Tang Muhai leads the Shanghai Nine Trees Philharmonic Orchestra to Singapore in a first collaboration with renowned Singaporean pianist William Wei and supporting Singaporean musicians including Felix Phang and The Straits Ensemble. William and Tang will launch the world premiere of Mei Lanfang Peking Opera Symphony, originally performed by one of the greatest actors of Peking Opera of the 20th century. They will also perform classical music by composers from East and West including Chopin, Prokofiev, Felix Phang and more.


Musicpath Release

Get ready for a night where beats meet the breeze—Musicpath Release is taking over Mortar & Pestle’s rooftop on 28 October with a genre-blending music talk show and live concert. Hosted by Rupak George (Mantravine), the event features original performances and behind-the-scenes stories from fresh faces in Singapore’s indie scene, including Esther Wilson, Ewa Skotka, Ben Mah, Durin, Jeano, Kushaal Singh, Will Beale, Bumi Vayu, and Aristoitle. Expect live jams, candid artist convos, a casual songwriting workshop, and even a complimentary gin & tonic if you show up early. It’s all part of a six-month artist journey under the Musicpath Blueprint program, and it’s your chance to hear how everyday sounds become unforgettable tracks.


A Nightmare on Selegie Street

A Nightmare on Selegie Street is set to turn Halloween night into a full-blown fever dream. Presented by EXFiL Records, the one-night-only concert-meets-horror experience pulls you straight into a sonic horror flick — where each performance feels like a scene from a chilling thriller. With Heema Izzati, Gels, and Chelsea Cara taking the stage, expect spine-tingling sets, immersive visuals, and a haunting soundscape that will follow you home. This isn’t just a show — it’s a story you’ll step into


Chamber Charms: Virtuosic Bowed Strings

Chamber Charms: Virtuosic Bowed Strings returns after its 2021 premiere, showcasing the expressive beauty of Chinese bowed strings with SCO huqin masters Li Baoshun and Zhao Jianhua. The concert features beloved works by Liu Tianhua—including 'Song for New Year's Eve', 'Towards A Bright Future', and 'Hymn of Idleness'—alongside favourites like 'Nostalgia', 'Farewell at Yangguan Pass', and 'Ballad of Yubei', performed in both ensemble and erhu solo formats to stir the soul with every bow stroke.


The Last Blue Forest

Step into a world of myth and music at The Last Blue Forest. Presented by Brahmastra Arts House in collaboration with Singhanagara Contemporary Orchestra, this multi-sensory showcase brings together cinematic visuals and transcendent soundscapes in a journey through a forgotten realm. Directed by Jeremiah Choy, the performance features a stunning lineup of soloists — Azrin Abdullah (oud), Charmaine Teo (harp), Indra Chen (guzheng), Riduan Zalani (rebana), and Niranjan Pandian (Indian bamboo flute and composer). With support from the National Arts Council and the stART Fund, this Culture Pass-eligible production promises an immersive experience where tradition meets innovation.


Yan Huichang and Singapore Chinese Orchestra 2025

Following last season’s rousing success, Maestro Yan Huichang returns with another captivating concert featuring his signature repertoire made famous by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. This performance includes the Singapore premiere of 'Tang Resonating' by Hong Kong composer Ng Cheuk Yin, as well as Pipa Principal Yu Jia’s rendition of Zhao Jiping’s 'Pipa Concerto No. 2', also premiering in Singapore.


Cosmic Dissolution

Get ready for a sonic experience like no other as Rudra join forces with Resound Collective’s 56-piece orchestra for an epic one-night-only concert that blurs the lines between genres. Known for pioneering Vedic metal, the legendary Singapore band marks their 33-year legacy by reimagining their signature sound—fusing guttural vocals, razor-sharp guitar riffs, and double-kick drums with sweeping orchestral arrangements, thunderous brass, and cinematic strings. Led by conductor Ang Shao-wen with arrangements by Chok Kerong, this genre-defying performance promises a thrilling collision of tradition and innovation, power and precision, delivered with unrelenting force.


Sing60 Music Festival

The Sing60 Music Festival hits Fort Canning Park on 6 and 7 December, marking 60 years of Singapore music with Benjamin Kheng, Charlie Lim, Mavis Hee, Shye, Dru Chen, Glenn Yong, Iman Fandi, Shabir, and many more; plus reunion sets from A Vacant Affair, Caracal, and The Great Spy Experiment, just to name a few. Curated by Bandwagon, the Bandwagon Sessions stage will showcase top indie and alternative acts performing originals and local covers. The festival also features a vibrant Festival Village co-curated with F ZINE, offering Singapore-made food, fashion, lifestyle products, and design in a lively, marketplace-style setting.


Percussion Rhapsody by Singapore Chinese Orchestra

Showcasing the rising stars of the national orchestra, this concert features homegrown talents Associate Conductor Moses Gay, percussionist Derek Koh, and zhonghu musician Wong Qin Kai. Together, they will present the Singapore premieres of Chen Yi's 'Percussion Concerto' and Wang Jianmin's 'Erhu Rhapsody No. 6', highlighting the brilliance of a new generation of SCO musicians and celebrating the best of local talent.


In Each Hand A Cutlass – The Kraken: 10 Years On

After a decade beneath the surface, In Each Hand A Cutlass are surfacing once again for The Kraken: 10 Years On, a one-night-only celebration of their seminal 2015 record. This special performance will see the instrumental rock heavyweights revisit the cinematic depths of The Kraken, alongside fan favourites from A Universe Made of Strings and other deep cuts. Known for their sweeping post-rock soundscapes and ferocious live energy, the band will be joined by atmospheric post-rockers 7nightsatsea and experimental act Frinla.
