Fever's celebrated Candlelight Concerts series is back in 2025 and music lovers can expect to be mesmerised by classical renditions of tunes from beloved films, hits from some of the biggest names from the international music scene, and more. This year is all about tributes to legendary music soundtracks in movies and dramas by the likes of Hans Zimmer, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran & more.


Bring Your Nailclipper To Prom

Two of Singapore’s sapphic collectives — Nail Clipper Club and Bring Your Roommate — are teaming up for the ultimate blood-splattered queer prom night. Titled Bring Your Nailclipper To Prom, the event draws wild inspiration from the cult horror classic Carrie, promising a gloriously messy night of camp, chaos, and joy. Hosted by drag darling Lychee Bye, the lineup includes karaoke with The Carrie Crarksons led by indie rocker RENE, drag acts by Mia Rita Virus and all-drag king boyband BTO, alongside dancefloor takeovers by DJs ESTR and saudalexander. With best-dressed prizes, prom queef crowning, and affordable table bookings, this queer prom is made for the outsiders — a space to scream, slay, and sparkle ‘til late.


Earthopia Fest

Powered by City Sprouts and Just Keep Thinking SG, Earthtopia Fest is two-day celebration of music, art, and climate action features performances from Benjamin Kheng, Estelle Fly, Beans & Beats, and more. From 10AM to 10PM daily, explore workshops, community-led talks, and interactive experiences designed to empower youth and inspire real environmental change — all wrapped in a radically inclusive and vibrant atmosphere. Entry is free, with hands-on experiences at just $18. Don’t forget to pre-register and snap up a $10 F&B voucher by completing their survey before 17 October.


A Love Song

A Love Song, opening 25 October at Objectifs, is photo-artist Mary-Ann Teo’s black-and-white tribute to Singapore’s live music scene. Spanning from the early '90s to today, the exhibition captures the raw spirit of local bands—past legends like Force Vomit and The Stoned Revivals to emerging names like The CB Dogs and True Anger. Opening night will feature live sets from Ashvind Ramani, Typewriter, Turnover, CB Dogs, and Leslie Low, with exclusive merch on sale. A special artist talk with Lim Cheng Tju happens on 13 November, offering deeper insight into the evolving rhythms of Singapore’s alternative soundscape.


Taufik Batisah: One Last Dance

Taufik Batisah: One Last Dance is not just a concert. It is a moment of gratitude. After years of collaborations, awards, and chart-topping releases, this concert is Taufik's personal thank you to the fans who have supported him from his Singapore Idol days to today. The show will feature a specially curated setlist of fan favourites across both his English and Malay discography, reimagined with new arrangements, visuals, and storytelling elements that reflect the artist he has become. With the possibility that this may be his final full-scale solo concert, One Last Dance promises to be an emotional and powerful celebration of music, legacy and connection. 


Singapore-China Gala Symphony Concert

GRAMMY-winning conductor Tang Muhai leads the Shanghai Nine Trees Philharmonic Orchestra to Singapore in a first collaboration with renowned Singaporean pianist William Wei and supporting Singaporean musicians including Felix Phang and The Straits Ensemble. William and Tang will launch the world premiere of Mei Lanfang Peking Opera Symphony, originally performed by one of the greatest actors of Peking Opera of the 20th century. They will also perform classical music by composers from East and West including Chopin, Prokofiev, Felix Phang and more.


Musicpath Release

Get ready for a night where beats meet the breeze—Musicpath Release is taking over Mortar & Pestle’s rooftop on 28 October with a genre-blending music talk show and live concert. Hosted by Rupak George (Mantravine), the event features original performances and behind-the-scenes stories from fresh faces in Singapore’s indie scene, including Esther Wilson, Ewa Skotka, Ben Mah, Durin, Jeano, Kushaal Singh, Will Beale, Bumi Vayu, and Aristoitle. Expect live jams, candid artist convos, a casual songwriting workshop, and even a complimentary gin & tonic if you show up early. It’s all part of a six-month artist journey under the Musicpath Blueprint program, and it’s your chance to hear how everyday sounds become unforgettable tracks.


Baybeats Festival 2025

Baybeats 2025 shines a well-deserved spotlight on Singapore’s thriving alternative scene, bringing together both long-time heroes and exciting new voices. Fans can look forward to post-hardcore heavyweights A Vacant Affair, progressive post-rock favourites ANECHOIS, and legendary punk outfit Plainsunset, alongside the high-energy grit of The Bois and the industrial pulse of Microchip Terror. The lineup also pinesmotifs, haldi honey, Aggressive Raisin Cat, Arajua, Saints Amongst Sinners, Wicked Aura feat. WCKD BRG8, and weish, proving that Singapore’s homegrown talent continues to stand tall on the same stages as Asia’s most electrifying acts.


A Nightmare on Selegie Street

A Nightmare on Selegie Street is set to turn Halloween night into a full-blown fever dream. Presented by EXFiL Records, the one-night-only concert-meets-horror experience pulls you straight into a sonic horror flick — where each performance feels like a scene from a chilling thriller. With Heema Izzati, Gels, and Chelsea Cara taking the stage, expect spine-tingling sets, immersive visuals, and a haunting soundscape that will follow you home. Chamber Charms: Virtuosic Bowed Strings

Chamber Charms: Virtuosic Bowed Strings returns after its 2021 premiere, showcasing the expressive beauty of Chinese bowed strings with SCO huqin masters Li Baoshun and Zhao Jianhua. The concert features beloved works by Liu Tianhua—including 'Song for New Year's Eve', 'Towards A Bright Future', and 'Hymn of Idleness'—alongside favourites like 'Nostalgia', 'Farewell at Yangguan Pass', and 'Ballad of Yubei', performed in both ensemble and erhu solo formats to stir the soul with every bow stroke.


The Last Blue Forest

Step into a world of myth and music at The Last Blue Forest. Presented by Brahmastra Arts House in collaboration with Singhanagara Contemporary Orchestra, this multi-sensory showcase brings together cinematic visuals and transcendent soundscapes in a journey through a forgotten realm. Directed by Jeremiah Choy, the performance features a stunning lineup of soloists — Azrin Abdullah (oud), Charmaine Teo (harp), Indra Chen (guzheng), Riduan Zalani (rebana), and Niranjan Pandian (Indian bamboo flute and composer). With support from the National Arts Council and the stART Fund, this Culture Pass-eligible production promises an immersive experience where tradition meets innovation.


Super Tattoo Fun Times 2

Super Tattoo Fun Times 2 is where ink culture meets underground sound, all under one roof. A celebration of Singapore's youth culture, the event unites the tattoo and music scenes — two communities long intertwined through DIY spirit and subcultural roots. Fans can expect electrifying sets from bands like Fader, Krunkle, 7nightsatsea, and Silicon, alongside genre-pushing tattoo artists including @earsinfections, @dazism, and @rreikemon. Holding it down on the decks are local DJ talents like Hammy, Mr Legume, and Sean Sundaran, with an afterparty stacked with B2B sets. Beyond the sound and skin, a free art market rounds out the experience, featuring local creatives like ooOoOooo and Surface Noise Records, making it a full-on Singapore creative scene family affair.


TRIFECTA Backyard Sessions Vol. 4

TRIFECTA Backyard Sessions Vol. 4 is making a thunderous return as a special edition marking TRIFECTA Singapore’s 2nd anniversary and the launch of the *X SCAPE Festival. Taking over the skate bowl at TRIFECTA, this free-entry event promises an electric evening of raw, genre-spanning performances from local heavyweights Subsonic Eye, Cactus Cactus, Inkblot Page, and Sappy Chill. Expect everything from jangle-pop and punk to experimental jams and funky chaos, all backed by food, drinks, and a chance to win exclusive prizes. More than just a gig, it’s a full-on community celebration of sound, self-expression, and skate culture.


沈志豪 Alfred Sim: 十年有你 Chapter 10 演唱會 Live Concert

Homegrown singer Alfred Sim marks a deeply meaningful milestone this year with his 10-year anniversary concert Chapter 10, a touching musical journey that revisits his career, personal growth, and the people who have walked alongside him. From his milestone victory as the Project Superstar Champion to a flourishing career as a recording artist and performer, Alfred has built a loyal fan base and an impressive portfolio of hits. This one-night-only concert will be a heartfelt journey through his musical highlights and a tribute to the fans who have supported him over the years.


Yan Huichang and Singapore Chinese Orchestra 2025

Following last season’s rousing success, Maestro Yan Huichang returns with another captivating concert featuring his signature repertoire made famous by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. This performance includes the Singapore premiere of 'Tang Resonating' by Hong Kong composer Ng Cheuk Yin, as well as Pipa Principal Yu Jia’s rendition of Zhao Jiping’s 'Pipa Concerto No. 2', also premiering in Singapore.


Cosmic Dissolution

Get ready for a sonic experience like no other as Rudra join forces with Resound Collective’s 56-piece orchestra for an epic one-night-only concert that blurs the lines between genres. Known for pioneering Vedic metal, the legendary Singapore band marks their 33-year legacy by reimagining their signature sound—fusing guttural vocals, razor-sharp guitar riffs, and double-kick drums with sweeping orchestral arrangements, thunderous brass, and cinematic strings. SNYO 45ᵗʰ Anniversary Gala

Join the young musicians of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) in commemorating a major milestone. Led by Music Director Joshua Tan, and fellow conductors Darrell Ang, Robert Casteels and Leonard Tan, they will take on an ambitious programme featuring music by Glinka, Ravel, Fauré and Beethoven.


Sing60 Music Festival

The Sing60 Music Festival hits Fort Canning Park on 6 and 7 December, marking 60 years of Singapore music with Benjamin Kheng, Charlie Lim, Mavis Hee, Shye, Dru Chen, Glenn Yong, Iman Fandi, Shabir, and many more; plus reunion sets from A Vacant Affair, Caracal, and The Great Spy Experiment, just to name a few. Curated by Bandwagon, the Bandwagon Sessions stage will showcase top indie and alternative acts performing originals and local covers. The festival also features a vibrant Festival Village co-curated with F ZINE, offering Singapore-made food, fashion, lifestyle products, and design in a lively, marketplace-style setting.


SSO Christmas Concert

Percussion Rhapsody by Singapore Chinese Orchestra

Showcasing the rising stars of the national orchestra, this concert features homegrown talents Associate Conductor Moses Gay, percussionist Derek Koh, and zhonghu musician Wong Qin Kai. Together, they will present the Singapore premieres of Chen Yi's 'Percussion Concerto' and Wang Jianmin's 'Erhu Rhapsody No. 6', highlighting the brilliance of a new generation of SCO musicians and celebrating the best of local talent.


In Each Hand A Cutlass – The Kraken: 10 Years On

After a decade beneath the surface, In Each Hand A Cutlass are surfacing once again for The Kraken: 10 Years On, a one-night-only celebration of their seminal 2015 record. This special performance will see the instrumental rock heavyweights revisit the cinematic depths of The Kraken, alongside fan favourites from A Universe Made of Strings and other deep cuts. Known for their sweeping post-rock soundscapes and ferocious live energy, the band will be joined by atmospheric post-rockers 7nightsatsea and experimental act Frinla. Get ready to plunge into a sea of riffs, emotion, and sonic storytelling.


Hans Graf & Churen Li

The last SSO concert of 2025 brings together two of Singapore’s brightest classical music talents, as Churen Li performs the world premiere of Jonathan Shin’s Piano Concerto. It will be paired with Shostakovich’s titanic Tenth Symphony, under the direction of Quantedge Music Director Hans Graf.

Music Day Out returns on New Year's Eve, bringing together a dynamic line-up of local and regional indie acts for a full day (and night) of live music, energy, and creative expression. Presented by *SCAPE and organised by Steady State Records, Manifest: Music Day Out! is part of *SCAPE’s COMMA Creative Arts Festival, an initiative celebrating youth-led creativity across music, movement, media, and more. Now in its seventh edition, Music Day Out continues to spotlight the next wave of Singapore’s alternative music scene, offering festival-goers an expressive and authentic space to close out the year - no glitz, no countdown confetti, just good music and good vibes.
