When it comes to music, music videos are important supplements to what we can hear as they stimulate our visual senses in a way that sound cannot.
From creative homemade projects to cinematic works that beg to be seen on a big screen, all forms of music videos are released by Singapore's talented musicians seeking to extend the stories told in their songs every month. In this monthly series, we will be rounding up the latest releases from our sunny island that might fly under the radar.

ALICIA DC ft. ABANGSAPAU - 'WANNA KISS'
ALICIA DC dives into the complexities of modern love with her bold new single, ‘WANNA KISS’. Blending minimalistic melodies with hypnotic dance grooves, the track explores the emotional grey area of wanting intimacy outside a relationship — a provocative theme ALICIA tackles head-on with raw lyricism and signature sonic candour. Featuring a verse from ABANGSAPAU, the song offers dual perspectives on desire, boundaries, and self-exploration, marking a fresh chapter in ALICIA DC’s artistic evolution.
goneMUNE - 'EVOLUTION'
A short but potent cut from goneMUNE's hauntingly cinematic full-length album AVERDONIA. This visceral visual chapter for 'EVOLUTION' is shot by Sailesh Aswath (@psylsh). Each music video captures the alienation, confusion, and yearning at the heart of AVERDONIA’s journey — a synthetic being navigating a decaying Earth in search of emotion and identity. Stark and unflinchingly raw, goneMUNE's remarkable project offers a glimpse into a fractured journey "where mechanical chaos collides with resurfacing human memories".
Glenn Yong - '请不要离开我'
The '请不要离开我' music video marks Glenn Yong’s directorial debut, unfolding a tender, cinematic portrait of heartbreak and longing. Co-directed with Wennha0 and brought to life by the team at Moonshade Studio, the visual follows Glenn as he navigates the quiet ache of love slipping away, supported by emotive performances from co-stars Kelly Lim and Willie Lau. The MV leans into emotional realism — every frame echoing the song’s plea to hold on before everything falls apart. It’s a polished, heartfelt effort from Glenn as both a songwriter and director, capturing vulnerability with sincerity and restraint.
hongjoin - 'Little More Time'
'A Little More Time' is hongjoin at his most tender — a warm, quietly emotional track that revisits a song he first wrote six years ago after prom. The hilarious lyric video, filmed Anthony Li, features August Eriksson as the "girlfriend" hongjoin hangs out with on playground swings and living room couches. "No budget for an actress so we got the next closest thing," the singer jokingly explains.
Sherman Zhuo - 'Be With You'
‘Be With You’ is the emotional centrepiece of Sherman Zhuo’s Junctions EP — a gentle, reassuring ballad about love that shows up quietly and stays faithfully. Built around soft melodies and Sherman’s warm, steady vocals, the song leans into patience and presence: the act of listening, holding space, and reminding someone they’re already enough even when they can’t see it themselves. It captures the kind of companionship that doesn’t rush healing or demand perfection, but simply walks alongside you at your pace.
JustJaewin, Sher - 'Lovers'
‘Lovers 情人’ is a tender, memory-soaked release from JustJaewin featuring emerging vocalist Sher — a slow-burning hip-hop/R&B ballad that traces the soft glow and quiet ache of a relationship from first spark to final goodbye. Wrapped in dreamy production and intimate lyricism, the track plays like a bittersweet montage: snapshots of joy, miscommunication, longing, and the moments that stay with you long after love fades. With its romantic, heartfelt chill and diary-like honesty, 'Lovers 情人' captures the fragile beauty of holding on — and the even harder art of letting go.
Half Open Tales - 'Hopeless'
Half Open Tales dive headfirst into the messy world of love with their latest single ‘Hopeless. A fizzy blend of pop punk riffs and electronic textures, the track paints the all-too-relatable picture of being hopelessly in love—and hopelessly bad at it. But rather than wallow, the band flips the script with an upbeat, tongue-in-cheek delivery that finds humour in heartbreak. Cheeky, charged, and cathartic, 'Hopeless' is both a sonic punch and a wink to anyone who's ever tripped over their own feelings.
