Singapore's very own Linying has a new track out with Japanese producer Yaffle.
Yaffle, also known as Youki Kojima, also happens to be the co-founder of Tokyo Recordings. Linying and her velvety vocals have been a mainstay in Singapore's music scene since she released her debut EP, Paris 12, in 2016. Since then, the star has seen her lead single 'Sticky Leaves' chart among Spotify's US Viral 50 and the Global Viral charts. The single has garnered over 5.1 million streams to date and they're still growing.
The collaboration between Linying and Yaffle might have the most apt title we've seen in awhile. While the track's energetic, upbeat instrumentals are great, the true star of the song is undoubtedly Linying. With her sultry and crisp vocals, Linying performance is light and refreshing, both perfect for the summer and a nice change from the more languid sounds she's known for.
