On 24 June, the Singaporean singer released a collaborative track with Japanese duo AmPm, titled 'Tokyo On My Mind'. The midtempo dance track sees Hartono singing about an early morning in Tokyo over AmPm's rhythmic production.
The collaboration came about when AmPm approached Hartono to write a song about their native city. "When AmPm told me to write a song about the city of Tokyo, I got very excited by the possibilities. Japan holds a special place in my heart, I’ve gone for several trips there, and every time, what I experienced was magical in its own way," Hartono says in a press release.
An official recording video of 'Tokyo On My Mind' will be released on 25 June.
