Congratulations are in order for The Sam Willows as it made the list of Forbes 30 under 30 Asia 2019 List, published yesterday, making them the first Singaporean band to do so.
The annual list, compiled by one of the leading American business magazines Forbes, features 300 leading innovators in Asia in their respective industries, all of whom are hand-picked by a panel of distinguished judges.
This year, the pop quartet earned the honour under the category Entertainment and Sports. "Watching young impresarios work their craft on the court and the silver screen", as described by the publication. The band is joined by other highly celebrated musicians such as Kimbra, Tash Sultana, Peggy Gou, BLACKPINK, CL, Joji and Nana Ou-Yang.
2018 has been a stellar year for The Sam Willows, with the release of an LP, I Know, But Where and a holiday EP, Christmas EP.
