Adrian Pang is a Malaysian-born Singapore actor and performer beloved for his longtime presence in Singaporean theatre. His myriad acting credits over the years include roles in stage productions like LKY: The Musical and Hollywood films such as 2015 film Blackhat opposite Chris Hemsworth and Wang Leehom.
Born in Malaysia, he came to Singapore to pursue his education, before returning back to his hometown of Malacca where he spent several years trying to make a name for himself as an actor. He also worked in the United Kingdom and frequently came back to Singapore for stage productions. An early, notable role of Pang's was in the Singaporean comedic film Forever Fever, which was released in 1998.
He officially and permanently returned to Singapore with his family in 2001 and joined SPH MediaWorks (later known as Mediacorp) as a producer-presenter. Pang then went on to act in household dramas such as Maggi & Me and Portrait Of Home. He has also appeared in local movies such as Jack Neo's 2005 hit I Do I Do alongside Sharon Au. Pang has also hosted shows such as Deal Or No Deal and The Arena.
Pang left Mediacorp in 2010 after his contract expired, and announced that he was leaving the entertainment industry to start up a drama company with his wife Tracie Pang called PANGDEMONiUM. The company has since held over 20 productions including RENT, Spring Awakening and The Full Monty.
