angel eyes marks a significant pivot from jenshin’s completely self recorded and produced EP pinball 1979, where he attempts to step out of his bedroom pop/lofi sound and collaborate with other musicians and producers, such as Singaporean singer-songwriter hongjoin, who co-produced the track, as well as orchestral musicians from various youth orchestras in Singapore, including the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and Temasek JC String Ensemble. The single serves as the launch of his journey to develop his artistry, fuelled by his interest to include other artists in his work, in order to create the best art possible.
