i wrote this song in 2022 when i was 16 and finally got down to recording and mixing it. the lyrics are inspired by a time where i was in the dumps and felt like there was no hope at all after my disastrous o levels. the artwork was done by my friend from school. i caught the film All About Lily Chou-Chou at the Asian Film Archives and i really loved it so i used a dialogue from the film in this song. it feels quite surreal that my first single has been released and i hope i will be able to release more music in the coming months or years.
