Poh Chin

"Lie" is a pop song about having one's trust broken by someone close or important to you, and the thoughts and emotions that follow the event, such as emptiness, sadness, anger and self-doubt. It features a melodic rap comparing these emotions to a wilting flower. This song made it to the Grand Finals of The Dream Composition Song Writing Competition organised by National University of Singapore (NUS) King Edward VII Hall of Residence and was re-arranged for the competition.
