‘Red Flags’ is a song about staying in a toxic relationship despite of the warning signs. Currently based in Boston, LEW’s first release of 2019 features Singaporean songbird Joie Tan. Their voices open the listener up to the pains of emotional blackmail, gaslighting, and insecurity, which at the heart of it stems from the painful realities of being human: Our desire to love and be loved in return.
