Tired of Trying

This song is quite a personal song for me and I wrote it at a time when I felt like nothing was going right in my life. I felt alone, powerless, helpless and a sense of self-doubt. These feelings made their way into my academics at school, my sport, and for some time, my music as well. Therefore, this song was almost a letter to myself saying "fine, I may as well stop trying because nothing is working". Obviously not the best attitude to have! However, while lyrically the song is darker, the production behind has been made to feel hopeful and more joyous, indicating that there may be some light at the end of my tunnel.
