A thoughtful tribute to a young talent gone too soon, the EP, derived posthumously from a cache of unreleased demos from the late XVAN, reimagines the sounds of the eponymous producer through the lens of some of Singapore’s top electronic talents. From the airy and whimsical track Spiral, to the gentle and sweet Sunlight and the darker, mournful all in (my head), the EP is a poignant but hopeful reminder of an emerging artist’s legacy—the noticeable absence he left behind, but also the beauty of his works that remains.
