Hear65 has teamed up with Mandarin radio station, UFM100.3, to present UFM100.3 x Hear65 Presents: LIVE from the Lion City – part of a series of monthly showcases that feature Chinese music performed by our homegrown talents. Previously, the event saw captivating performances by OHMYMEITING and Jin An.
Hosted by SPH Radio, UFM100.3 DJ Wei Long (伟龙), the sixth edition of UFM100.3 x Hear65 Presents: LIVE from the Lion City will see exciting performances by Zuo En (张祚恩) and NEKO Highway (猫速公路), and will be happening on Saturday, 31 August, 12:30 – 2pm, at the Cloud9 Piazza, Jewel Changi Airport.
Zuo En is a Singaporean singer-songwriter who wrote her first pieces of music after being inspired by artists such as Mayday and Cheer Chen. Driven by the emotions that music evokes in listeners, Zuo En’s love for sharing her emotions and thoughts is evident in the music she puts out. Recently, her single, ‘单恋’ was featured in Zaobao’s 创新声 Sing Our Song music series.
Consisting of lead vocalist Kaye, keyboardist Sandy and bassist Claire, NEKO Highway’s first single, ‘Dancing Cat’, caught the attention of many across Asia, including Taiwanese singer-songwriter and radio DJ Waa Wei (魏如萱), who delivered renditions of the song through her radio programme on multiple occasions. Since then, the band has been awarded the ‘Best Newcomer Award (Bronze Award)’ at the Global Chinese Golden Chart Awards Ceremony in May 2019.
This edition of UFM100.3 x Hear65 Presents: LIVE from the Lion City will be held at Cloud9 Piazza, a unique event venue located on the topmost level of Jewel Changi Airport that offers sweeping views of the HSBC Rain Vortex and Shiseido Forest Valley. In addition to its various shopping and dining options, Jewel also offers fun attractions such as the Changi Experience Studio, where visitors can engage in the wonder of amazing projection experiences and immerse themselves in interactive games and shows.
