LASALLE College of the Arts brings back its Rock & Indie Festival (RIF) for its eighth edition this weekend. The FREE student-led music festival takes place on 7 February (1:30PM–10:30PM) and 8 February (2PM–10:30PM) anchored by a stellar lineup of 21 homegrown acts.

Hosted at LASALLE’s Campus Green and Flexible Performance Space (reservations required), the two-day extravaganza will showcase performances by established artists, winners of RIF 2025’s open call and student bands from LASALLE’s Diploma in Music programme.

Highlights include prodigious singer-songwriter rhyu, indie darling lewloh, alt-prog quintet Taledrops, pop-punk faves Pathetic Ordinary, acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Bennett Bay, mathcore band Glassmouth, post-psych rock veterans Bakers In Space, and death metal standouts Darah, among many others.

RIF 2025 will also feature a Festival Village, with a selection of small businesses selling a range of items from crafts to clothes.

The event is presented by LASALLE's School of Contemporary Music, with students from the BA (Hons) Arts Management, Diploma in Audio Production, Diploma in Theatre Production and Management and Diploma in Broadcast Media programmes collaborating to organise, curate and manage the festival.
