Soul Dot teams up with Marian Carmel and Akeem Jahat again for 'Heartbreak Boulevard'

Soul Dot, Marian Carmel and Akeem Jahat return for another single titled ‘Heartbreak Boulevard’, following their prior release together back in July, ‘what are we?’ and an acoustic version of it in August.

In a press statement, the trio Leonard Goh, Joyce Gim, and Chia Kun Loong who make up Soul Dot shared that “‘Heartbreak Boulevard is a stylistic approach to this tale of “don’t go looking for love at the wrong turn.”

The beat, reminiscent of the boom-bap rap era of the 80s-90s is accompanied by Carmel’s euphonic vocals and Akeem’s smooth flow as he sonically glides through the track. Akeem also puts his own spin on a bar from Eminem’s 2002 hit ‘Without Me’.

Carmel released a single with evanturetime and Tim De Cotta titled 'if it's with you' back in August and most recently dropped jaws nationwide when she found out she was featured on BLACKPINK’s LISA's “Current Favourites” Spotify playlist. Akeem's most release was intimate single 'Hollywoodlands', released in March.
