Singapore Cantonese rock band, 超粵 CiuJyut launches their debut single, titled “Inner Cry” (吶喊聲), after nearly one year of playing in studios and ticketed performance, jointly selected this song out of their 10 originals. Formed in Singapore on 2 January 2023, CiuJyut is the resemblance of faith from friends of very diverse background. Grew up listening to Cantopop of the 80’s and 90’s, they share common likings of Cantonese songs, as well as the passion in music. Inspired by bands in Hong Kong particularly Beyond, they stay motivated tuning in to Kolor, Dear Jane, Rubberband and Supper Moment, as well as LMF and 24 Herbs.
