A Reason to Smile is a melancholic indie pop track about thinking you had a chance with someone, only to realise it was never real. Blending dreamy melodies with raw storytelling, the song captures the bittersweet feeling of unspoken emotions and missed connections. Written and produced in my home studio, it draws inspiration from artists like Hybs, Boy Pablo, and Ink Waruntorn, creating a nostalgic yet modern indie sound.
