Inspired by the likes of FINNEAS and Billie Eilish, All At Once is an examination of the heart entrenched in an underwater feeling, of dealing with grief and how it can change you, and how complicated the internal logic of heartbreak can be. This song was written in a bid for catharsis, for giving shape and voice to emotions that are usually nebulous and slippery, and its lingering melodies and overlapping instruments create a sense of being submerged in the deep; it is a meditative attempt at making sense of things that refuse to be made sense of.
