A soul-aching and heartfelt rendition of a deeply personal song, Amanda’s voice is beautiful and this is the equivalent of her baring her soul through her talented vocals.

Never Get Over You was beautifully written with the emotions and music that tug at your heartstrings. The chill vibe of the song and Amanda's sweet vocals make you feel calm and connected to the song. The melody of the song just sticks in your head and you'll find yourself humming it. This is definitely a song everyone can relate to and will enjoy.

Simple lyrics but a heartfelt story! What I love best about this song is the thought put behind the entire song: From the lyrics (sometimes grief is too difficult for us to process and simplicity is the best way to convey our feelings), to jazzy chord progressions (creating bittersweet moments), to Amanda's emotions when she sings the song, and lastly to the decision to upload this song and video on Father's Day (showing us her way of doing her late Dad proud by commemorating him in song). I may not have experienced the same form of grief, but hearing the song really forces me to reflect on the relationships that I have in my life and I've learnt to hold my loved ones closer. Amanda's choices in her writing tells us a lot. "They say time will heal, is it true? Maybe I'll never get over you." The whole process of her checking in with her feelings after so much time has passed perfectly describes the essence of grief, and how she can never get over her love for her Dad completely. This is a perfect song for anytime of day, and I highly encourage us to listen to this and support this budding artist! - Yiling Loh

I really like how this song brought out very raw emotions of the singer, without very complicated music arrangement. Anyone who experienced any type of grief at some point of their lives would be able to relate to this song. I think knowing the story behind the lyrics further amplified the emotions I felt with this song, so I can’t stop hitting the replay button for some time!
