"Silence" speaks about that stage of a relationship where there's so much noise but no one listens to one another. It's Alex's first go at experimenting auto-tune and this has brought a certain level of emotion to the song. In the song, Alex writes about how love may not be enough if two people cannot see eye to eye. "All I hear is just silence... silence"
