Singaporean post-rock band GOOSE 我鸟 is set to return home for an exciting album release show on 28 September at Wire Entertainment. After touring across Taiwan and Malaysia, the band will celebrate the launch of their debut album with a special performance, supported by Malaysian band Soft soft pillow (MY) as the guest opener.
Having released their debut album 温室里没有花 on 1 December 2023, GOOSE 我鸟 has captured the attention of post-rock fans with 10 original tracks. Known for their quirky, subversive style and multi-layered arrangements, the album has been praised for its dynamic, punchy sound that keeps listeners hooked.
Following their album release, GOOSE 我鸟 embarked on an international tour, playing in major cities including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kaohsiung, Tainan, and Taipei. Their performances in Malaysia and Taiwan saw sold-out shows, particularly at TCRC Live House in Tainan and Live Fact in Kuala Lumpur. The band also had the opportunity to collaborate with regional acts such as Triple Deer, Pacers, ARVAN, and Straw Lim during their tour.
"Coming back to Singapore and playing this show for our homies is extremely special," says Goose, the band's frontman. "We are so psyched to have Soft soft pillow support us in this. It’ll be fun!"
