Celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with made-in-Singapore music during your daily commute this month.
To usher in the joyous season, Hear65 and the National Arts Council's (NAC) I Play SG Music campaign has launched a special playlist comprising festive tracks created by homegrown artists.
Part of a larger partnership between transportation service provider SMRT and the NAC, I Play SG Music is an initiative that brings music from Singaporean artists to 134 MRT and LRT stations and bus interchanges islandwide.
This year's playlist features 'Hari Raya Raya' by popstar Iman Fandi, 'Rilek Raya' by legendary singer Art Fazil and 'Seloka Dua Saudara' by shazza, Hafidz Rahman and Zuhairi Idris - the theme song for Mediacorp's telemovie Mimpi Raya.
Other highlights include 'Ramadan Yang Mulia Syawal Yang Indah', a collaboration between Orkestra Melayu Singapura and Singapore Idol alumnus Hady Mirza, Imran Ajmain's 'Joget Aidilfitri', a Zalelo and Izat Ibrahim team-up titled 'Berteman Di Hari Raya', 'Ini Baru Raya 2.0' by Izat Ibrahim, Sunny Jackson, Syaz Smooth, Myra and omarKENOBI, and more.
I Play SG Music's Hari Raya Aidilfitri playlist will be played at MRT and LRT stations and bus interchanges from 7 March until 27 March.
