Singaporean artist Hubert Ng has composed and co-written ‘Burn Me Into The Light’ — the hauntingly beautiful theme song for Netflix’s Taiwanese mystery series The Resurrected (回魂計). The track, performed by i-dle members MINNIE and SHUHUA, debuted alongside the series’ global premiere on 9 October.
‘Burn Me Into The Light’ weaves together ethereal pop production with cinematic emotion. The song captures the essence of The Resurrected — a story that explores love, grief, and redemption beyond death.
Speaking about the song, Hubert shared that "while writing the track, I pictured myself being in the dark seeking for the light. And while we always hope for the best, it is important to always think of the worst possible ending, and how to prevent all that from happening."
SHUHUA described the song as “mysterious yet hopeful.” MINNIE shares that it was “filled with emotion and strength.” Both artists said they hoped listeners would be able to connect with the drama’s story through the music.

The story follows two mothers who resurrect a man to uncover the truth behind their daughters’ deaths. The series explores themes of loss, grief, and justice. It premiered at the Busan International Film Festival before launching globally on streaming.
