Singapore’s "King of Swing" and Cultural Medallion recipient, Jeremy Monteiro, joins forces with soulful Singapore-based Indonesian crooner Reggie Pryor, for an 11-track album of jazz standards recorded across Singapore, Germany and Bulgaria, which includes contributions from internationally-acclaimed musicians, including Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Carmen Bradford and performances by the European Recording Orchestra String Ensemble. The album’s lead single is a sophisticated samba reinterpretation of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “My Favorite Things”, transforming the beloved Sound of Music classic into a lively high-energy samba jazz arrangement.
