An initiative to nurture young singing hopefuls from Singapore, Yaar Antha Star 2024 saw 12 contestants put on themed performances weekly and receive guidance from Nirmala Narasimhan and Elamaran Natarajan. Contestants were assessed based on their pitch, pronunciation, rhythm, and stage presence.
Pallavi, an arts student at One World International School, impressed judges with her growth and versatility during her time in the competition.
Going up against finalists Soorya, Swathy, Shruthilayaa, and Resshma in the two-round Grand Finals, she put her own spins on Tamil favourites and demonstrated her ability to adapt to pitch and tempo shifts.
