Known for numbers such as 'Sticky Leaves' and 'Self Control', Linying is competing in the AAA (Adult Album Alternative) category with 'Happiness', a track from her 2023 House Mouse EP.
Summer, who performed at the 2018 edition of SXSW in Austin, is representing Singapore in the Folk/Singer-Songwriter with her song 'Queen'.
An artist who has been compared with Diana Krall and Roberta Flack, Michelle SgP is a semi-finalist in two categories — Jazz and Performance. Her entry, 'Shark Filled Oasis', is taken from her 2023 EP, YOLO.
Also known as Marek Jaworski, Allen counts Oasis, The Strokes, The Vaccines, and Jebediah among his biggest influences. He is competing in the Rock category with his track 'Big Show'.
An annual competition open to both amateur and professional songwriters, musicians, and performers around the world, the International Songwriting Competition gives its contestants opportunities for development in addition to chances of winning cash prizes.
The competition features a star-studded panel of judges, which includes acts such as Mariah Carey, Reba McEntire. Linkin Park's Joe Hahn, and Jennifer Hudson. Past winners include The Band Perry, Passenger, Vance Joy, and Kehlani.
