Intriguant, one of Singapore's most experimentally-minded electronic music producers has lifted the veil on a transfixing new music video.
The song is a remix by esteemed Japanese producer Daisuke Tanabe, of the titular track off Intriguant's excellent 2016 debut album Recluse. The remix itself is part of a larger collection, Recluse (Remixed), which released in 2018.
The Super System, helmed by Heider Ismail, the cutting-edge platform that explores the possibilities that abound in the marriage between science and design, directed and animated the music video, which features amoebic forms shape-shifting as the song pulses.
Recently, Intriguant and the label to which he is signed, Syndicate, were involved in Tigers In Tampines, a brand new show commissioned by NAC’s Arts in Your Neighbourhood.
