Singapore's own metalcore act, Reserate, is set to open for "kawaii-metal" icons BABYMETAL at their sold-out show at the Capitol Theatre on 20 August.

The band has also revealed their latest single, 'Weightless', from their forthcoming debut album Introspect, is set to release this month. This 10-track, self-produced album delves into human emotion with evocative melodies and powerful themes.
"This album is about looking inward and understanding the different facets of our emotions and experiences. We wanted each track to resonate with our listeners and offer them a space to reflect and connect", the band explains.

The release also comes just in time for their first Japan tour with Singaporean indie rock band Hijack Hayley in September. The debut album is set to be out on all music streaming platforms on 16 August.
