‘Here We Are’ is the official theme song for NDP 2025, celebrating Singapore’s 60th birthday with a heartfelt message of unity and resilience.
Penned by Charlie Lim and Chok Kerong, and produced by NDP music veteran Dr Sydney Tan, the track features vocals from Lim, national icon Kit Chan—best known for ‘Home’—and choral group The Island Voices. The collaboration blends generations of voices to reflect the nation’s journey and evolving identity.
Released on 26 May, the song starts tenderly and builds into a soaring chorus that embraces Singapore’s diversity and collective strength. Its accompanying music video spotlights everyday Singaporeans and familiar local scenes, painting an intimate portrait of a nation bound by shared moments.
This year’s NDP returns to the Padang, with expanded celebrations across Marina Bay, including a new floating stage, carnival zones, and crowd favourites like the mobile column and state flag flypast.
