Since independence in 1965, Singapore has defined itself as a multicultural society made up of Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian, and other communities. Through five chapters, this exhibition explores how these influences have blended into a shared identity—one rich in heritage and creativity that is sometimes referred to as the "rojak spirit"—an unmistakable embracing of differences to create something unique.

SingaPop! brings to life the evolution of Singapore’s everyday culture—from hawker centres to music, film, fashion, Singlish and annual National Day Parades. What began humbly now represents us on the global stage.
As well as a joyful celebration of life, the exhibition asks visitors to reflect on what makes Singapore so unique. The answer is simple: the people, stories, and traditions that bind us and continuing to shape the place we call home.
This exhibition is presented by ArtScience Museum and mm2 Entertainment, and supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). Click here for ticketing.
