Cravism x ABANGSAPAU x Mary Sue

Producer Cravism and rappers ABANGSAPAU and Mary Sue will present live performances of tracks from their 2023 collaborative album, OK!, at the Esplanade this January. Described as a "genre-bending" project, OK! is a rumination on themes such as love and vulnerability that fuses a variety of sonic influences.


Reverie, The Passerby, The Mad Trio, and more - ARTBOX AVENUE 2024

Popular creative night festival ARTBOX AVENUE will return to Singapore this January and February. Aside from checking out the event's retail and F&B offerings over two weekends, guests can also catch live performances from local bands Reverie, The Passerby, and The Mad Trio as well as violinist Jocelyn Ng and saxophonist Spruce Teo.


springheads by SUTDBands

Whether you are into metal, pop, jazz, or indie music, there will be something for you at this January's springheads. Organised by SUTDBands, this event promises to take concert-goers on a "journey through the hertz of spring".


E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial – Film with Live Orchestra

When: 26 and 27 January, 7:30 PM

Fans of Steven Spielberg's E.T. will not want to miss this one. At this special screening of the beloved 1982 sci-fi film, guests will be treated to a live orchestral performance of John Williams' memorable score by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, which will be led by conductor Joshua Tan.


LAYYI

Following the release of homebody last October, local pop and R&B singer-songwriter LAYYI will take the stage at the Esplanade's DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre to perform songs from her debut EP. The 'm00d' act will also be putting her spins on tracks from artists such as John Mayer, Ariana Grande, and H.E.R.


Taledrops, Sobs, Iman's League, Subsonic Eye, and more - Singapore Art Week

Back for its 2024 edition, Singapore Art Week (SAW) is set to be the biggest display of visual arts in the Lion City. This year, music fans can look forward to a plethora of live performances by indie, electronic, and alternative acts, including Sobs, Blush, Taledrops, Iman’s League, and Kiat, at the Sonic Sessions at Tanjong Pagar Distripark and Art After Dark at Gillman Barracks.

If you wish to relive the year 2000 this February, check out LASALLE College of the Arts' upcoming Y2K-themed Rock & Indie Festival (RIF) 2024 which will be headlined by alternative R&B duo nkei, pop punk band Fader, and alternative post-hardcore outfit Tides. The event will also include sets from Bernice Ong, Windtree, Alicia DC, Nosedive, Regina Song, september rains again, Ezekiel Tok, Days of Television, The Storms Upon Us, MURPHY, CTRL Chaos, BLANCCORE, Half Past 3, Megan, and DNS.

Presented by Dirty Window, The Next Step will feature sets from midwest emo/alternative act pines, shoegaze and alternative band Nosedive, instrumental quartet mon(dae), pop punk band Line Drive, and math rock outfit outer orbit.


nkei, Mary Sue and the Clementi Sound, and motifs - PRESSPLAY 2024

If you’ve always wanted to catch mini-concerts in the library, now’s your chance. On 3 February, the National Library Board (NLB)’s biennial arts festival, PRESSPLAY 2024, will showcase live performances by nkei, Mary Sue and the Clementi Sound, and motifs at the National Library.


TENG Ensemble - Once Upon a Time

Usher in the Lunar New Year with the TENG Ensemble at the upcoming installment of their Once Upon a Time concert series. Also set to feature appearances by Hua Yi Icon Search 2018 winner Lennerd Lim, suona artist Preston Ang, and ruan player Li Zhixin, the event will treats attendees to new interpretations of festive tunes as well as numbers from films such as Marvel’ Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. It will also include the premiere of a new composition by the TENG Ensemble's Composer-in-Residence, Chow Junyi.


Ruth Kueo - Huayi - Chinese Festival of Arts

Homegrown singer-songwriter Ruth Kueo will perform alongside Taiwanese band A_Root at the Esplanade this Lunar New Year season, as part of Esplanade's Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts, an annual cultural festival that spotlights "outstanding" Chinese artists. 


Lion City Jazz Festival 2024 - Dizzying Heights

Homegrown rockers The Pinholes will return to the live stage with their Fell For Your Spell concert this March. The band have also announced that they will be joined by as-yet-unrevealed supporting acts at the event.

She Shines Music Festival 2024

In celebration of women in the local music scene, the She Shines Music Festival 2024 will feature live performances from women across various genres and ages including Michelle SgP, Cindy Honanta, Rachman Lim, and Audrey Tang. More information here


Jessie M. - Dark Stories

Singaporean piano prodigy Jessie M. will perform works from Franz Liszt, Frédéric Chopin, William Bolcom, and more at her upcoming debut recital in Singapore. The 16-year-old was recently inducted into Steinway & Sons' Young Steinway Artist community.
