This holiday season, commuters can tune in to Christmas tracks by local musicians while traveling around Singapore!
Hear65 and the National Arts Council (NAC) has rolled out a special Christmas playlist as part of its I Play SG Music campaign. The selection features 12 fabulously festive tracks from homegrown artists such as Elsa Mickayla, New Recording 47, Vanessa Shavonne, Benny's, ooifs, Miss Lou, Jack and Rai, MICappella, Haneri, Northwoods, NyaLi, The Apex Project, Benjamin Kheng, The Island Voices, and The Sam Willows.
I Play SG Music spotlights locally produced music at 134 MRT and LRT stations and bus interchanges across the island, as part of a broader partnership between the NAC and transportation service provider SMRT.
Consisting of winsome originals and renditions of familiar Yuletide tunes - commuters can perk their ears for their favourite tracks while getting to know local names. Highlights includes songs such as 'I'm Gonna Be Loved (This Christmas)', 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas', 'Underneath The Tree', and more!
The I Play SG Music Christmas playlist will run from 11 December to 31 December.
