Celebrate Deepavali with made-in-Singapore music during your daily commute this month.
To usher in this joyous festival of lights, Hear65 and the National Arts Council's (NAC) I Play SG Music campaign has launched a special 10-track playlist comprising some of our finest homegrown artists.
Part of a larger partnership between transportation service provider SMRT and the NAC, I Play SG Music is an initiative that brings music from Singaporean artists to 125 MRT and LRT stations and bus interchanges islandwide.
Playlist highlights include Yung Raja's 'Litty Litty Deepavali' (not currently available on Spotify), Shabir Sulthan's 'Rubaiyat Kavithai', Priyadarshini's 'Deepangal Etrungal', Sushma Soma's collaboration with Praveen Sparsh, Shreya Devnath, MT Aditya Srinivasan and Sooraj entitled 'Vitthoba', and more!
I Play SG Music's SMRT Deepavali Playlist 2024 will be played at SMRT, MRT and LRT stations as well as bus interchanges from now until 6 November.
