Damian Steven quenches his T.HIRST for drum & bass and hardcore punk on 'I could get lost' – watch

Damian Steven is a man with many hats. When he's not playing bass for post-rock faves 7nightsatsea, or collaborating with local producers Wovensound and Shwin in ABSRD, he spends his days as the Senior Music Supervisor for Big Sync Music.

Remarkably, Damian has also found the time to debut a raucous new solo project called T.HIRST. Described as "The Bloody Beetroots meets Bring Me The Horizon",  his latest endeavour finds the underground scene veteran creating alternative dance productions that blends bass music with hardcore and punk.

If you think that sounds rad, just wait till you catch his hybrid DJsets, which feature live vocals, guitars, drums, and a foot-controlled light show for good measure.

Best of all, Damian has just debuted his first single as T.HIRST, which includes includes additional recording, production, mixing and mastering by Sun Cell.

"'I could get lost' is my official debut release as T.HIRST, shaped by hundreds of demos and life lessons over the past 7 years that made me feel like nothing was ever good enough. It is the product of every disappointment and every instrument I have picked up along the way. A b*stard mix of drum & bass with hardcore punk, it strays from the usual bass music. This will be followed by a big room track with hardcore vocals, a punk-techno mash, and a single-take folk song," the musician shares.

'I could get lost' comes accompanied by a fantastic music video directed by Jeremy Steven, with support from Juan Qi An and Taufiq Jafaar.
