Singapore Street Festival to return for in-person 2023 edition — here's how you can be a part of it

Singapore Street Festival is making a physical comeback after a three-year absence!

Into its 21st edition, the festival will be taking place across four different malls from 7 July to 13 August. The festival is set to launch at Paya Lebar Quarter before heading to Parkway Parade, 313@somerset, and Jem.

With a theme of 'The NXT Generation' for this year's edition, Singapore Street Festival is an annual event for youths to demonstrate their abilities in both the performing and visual arts. Singaporean youths are also given the opportunity to organize, plan, and execute the various programmes for the festival.

Calls for registration are now open for its Busk It! programme which is welcoming applicants from school choirs for its inaugural Choral4U programme.

Other activities that are available for registration also include a belly dancing competition, a yo-yo competition, and a street soccer one-on-one competition among others.

Local singer and a top six finalist for the Singapore auditions of The Voice of China, Tay Sia Yeun and frequent Singapore Street Festival collaborator Jean Kyaw are among those slated to perform at the festival.

Registrations for Busk It! and other Singapore Street Festival competitions are now open and more information can be found here
