Youth Music Matters launches Band Search, winner to perform at F1 Singapore Grand Prix

Branded (the producers of Music Matters Live), Timbre Group and Temasek Foundation have joined forces to launch Youth Music Matters - a nationwide band search looking to discover and nurture the next generation of emerging Singaporean musicians.

Most excitingly, the winning band will get a chance to perform live on Friday, 20 September at the prestigious Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix!

Beyond the showcase at DBS Foundation Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, the winners will also receive a one-month residency at Timbre+ One North, four passes to the exclusive All That Matters music and entertainment conference at the Hilton Hotel and an invitation to take part in the next Music Matters Live festival and academy.

"We are incredibly excited to launch Youth Music Matters and provide a platform for young, talented musicians to shine,” said Jasper Donat, CEO and cofounder of Branded.

Danny Loong, CEO and Founder of Timbre Group added, "For the past 19 years, Timbre has supported and fostered a vibrant community of young artists and bands, by providing them with performance opportunities to showcase their abilities at our venues and events. This has helped build confidence, develop their skills and enrich Singapore's music scene, so supporting a project focusing on youth and music was an easy decision for us.”
