Originally written as a love letter, 'perfect day' encapsulates the yearning for time that feels soft and gentle and expansive. It's based off the concept of il dolce far niente, which translates to ‘the sweetness of doing nothing’ and that, fused with personal memories, became the inspiration for ‘perfect day’ which hopes to embody that feeling of basking in luscious time with your favourite person.
