It is time to usher in Hari Raya Aidilfitri!
In celebration of the forthcoming festive season, Mediacorp has prepared an exciting entertainment lineup for viewers. With over eight weeks of Raya content planned, audiences can look forward to indulging in various programmes such as Sinar Lebaran, Juara Mic Junior Berhari Raya, and more starting this Raya eve.
This year's iteration of Sinar Lebaran — an annual Hari Raya variety special from the Singapore public broadcast service company — is set to feature comedic skits and musical performances from both homegrown and regional acts. Those who tune in can catch captivating performances of favourite Raya songs from the Orkestra Melayu Singapura as well as local artists such as Adeep Nahar, Aisyah Aziz, Sufi Rashid, Rahila Rashun, and more.
Sinar Lebaran is scheduled to air on 21 April at 9 PM and will also be available on Mediacorp's YouTube channel.
On 22 April, the 16 young stars from the second season of Malay children's reality singing competition Juara Mic Junior will make their return to the stage for Juara Mic Junior Berhari Raya 2023. Contestants from the show's first season, namely Ainul Yaqin, Hanie Bella, Putri Emily and Sarah Syazlina, will also be joining them in the festivities to perform spectacular renditions of classic and current festive tunes.
Juara Mic Junior Berhari Raya is scheduled to air on 22 April at 10 AM.
