The Ding Yi Music Company will take the stage alongside Taiwan's Taoyuan Chinese Concert (TYCO) at a new concert this month.
Set to be held at the Victoria Concert Hall on 28 January, the second installment of the Singapore-based Chinese chamber music ensemble's Of Time and Classics concert series is described as a cross-border celebration of Chinese music.

Event highlights include a solo presentation by Ding Yi Music Company's dizi artist Ng Hsien Han, a cello and pipa fusion performance from Bekhzod Oblayorov and Chua Yew Kok, and a performance inspired by Northern Shaanxi folk songs from TYCO erhu player Chang Wei-Yun.
Of Time and Classics will be helmed by Ding Yi Music Company's Resident Conductor, Wong De Li Dedric, and Guest Conductor Qu Chunquan.
From now till 5 PM on 15 January, members of the audience can vote for the solo and ensemble compositions they would like to hear at Of Time and Classics here. Guests who voted for the top two compositions will stand a chance of walking home with Qiu Zhai Art Foundation-sponsored paintings.
Tickets to Of Time and Classics are now available via SISTIC for $28 and $38. Senior citizens, students, and NSFs are eligible for concession tickets, priced at $20, while PAssion Card and OCBC members are entitled to special discounts.
