hongjoin is gearing up for his homecoming performance.
The Singaporean singer-songwriter, who is currently based in Boston, has announced that he will be holding a concert at Gateway Theatre's Black Box from 7PM on 22 July. Titled I'm So Far From You, the event will celebrate the launch of his 2023 EP F(OOL).

During the show, fans of hongjoin can expect to be treated to live renditions of tunes from not only his genre-bending latest EP, which was unveiled on 9 June, but also his 2022 album Petrichor.
I'm So Far From You will also feature opening performances from two local artists hongjoin "has a lot of love and respect for" — rising 19-year-old singer rhyu and his 'Long Way Home' collaborator zzzat.
An artist who has displayed honest storytelling in his releases to date, hongjoin is now one of Singapore's representatives in Spotify's 2023 RADAR programme, which spotlights up-and-coming artists. In May of this year, he opened for British-Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Maltese at his Singapore show.
Tickets to I'm So Far From You are available from $32.52 via Eventbrite.
