Singaporean indie-pop artist hongjoin will open for American alternative singer-songwriter Ricky Montgomery at his upcoming concert in Singapore.
The ‘Old Habits’ act, who is based in Boston, shared the news on Instagram with concert promoter 24OWLS, declaring his love for the singer and his excitement to perform back in Singapore.

The concert will be held at the Pasir Panjang Power Station A on 24 May at 7pm, as part of The Rick Tour. Following the show in Singapore, Montgomery will head to Jakarta before touring in Australia.
Tickets to the Singapore show are available via SISTIC at $95.

Just last year, hongjoin opened for British-Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Maltese at his Singapore show. He also held a concert in Singapore titled I’m So Far From You, in celebration of his 2023 EP F(OOL).
More recently, hongjoin performed at the Pan Asian Festival 2024 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Massachusetts, USA).
The singer also announced that his upcoming album KOMOREBI will be released on 10 May, coming after the launch of his latest single ‘Second Gear’.
